SHOOT OUT FINISHES
Pavilion Hockey
Leagues
offer exciting
shoot out finishes
to all games in
regular season and
round robin
playoff games.
If the game is
tied at the end of regulation time,
each team will
designate 3 players to begin the shootout.
The result being
the most goals scored in that
“head to head”
finish gains the extra point.
If the score
remains tied, any subsequent shots will be by participants one at
a time “sudden death”
that did not
shoot in the original 3.
Players cannot
shoot twice unless the full complement goes once through the
rotation.
All players can
participate in the shoot out
except the
following conditions:
If a player is
penalized at the end of the game and is in the box at the final
buzzer, he cannot take part in the shootout process. If a
player is extracted from regular time for a major penalty, he
cannot participate.
If minor
infractions resulted in a player removed from the game due to the
6 minute rule he also forfeits his eligibility to participate.
